MLS COVERAGE

MLS coverage begins tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET with the finale of MLS Insider on NBCSN. Live MLS coverage on NBCSN begins at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday when playoff contender Philadelphia Union faces 2013 Supporters’ Shield candidate Sporting Kansas City. At 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, the San Jose Earthquakes host FC Dallas.

NBC’s MLS coverage on Sunday is highlighted by the Houston Dynamo taking on D.C. United at 1:30 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s lead MLS play-by-play announcer John Strong will call NBCSN’s Philadelphia Union-Sporting Kansas City coverage on Saturday as well as NBC’s D.C. United-Houston Dynamo match on Sunday. Strong will be joined by analyst and former English footballer Robbie Mustoe and host Russ Thaler.

Announcer JP Dellacamera will handle play-by-play for Saturday’s San Jose Earthquakes-FC Dallas match alongside analyst Brian Dunseth and host Sebastian Salazar.

MOTORSPORTS COVERAGE

Weekend coverage of the Indian Grand Prix continues with an encore of practice tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by qualifying on NBCSN on Saturday at 4:30 a.m. ET. Live race coverage of the Indian Grand Prix begins on Sunday at 5 a.m. ET. NBCSN will also air an encore presentation of the Indian Grand Prix on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET. F1 Extra, NBC Sports Group’s half-hour post-race show, will air immediately following the conclusion of NBCSN’s Indian Grand Prix coverage.

NBCSN will also re-air last Saturday’s MAVTV 500 IndyCar World Championships, where Scott Dixon (Target Chip Ganassi) finished fifth to win his third career IZOD IndyCar Series championship, on Saturday at 12 a.m.

Lead F1 announcer Leigh Diffey will call the Indian Grand Prix and will be joined by veteran analyst and former racecar driver David Hobbs, and analyst and former race mechanic for the Benetton F1 team Steve Matchett. F1 insider Will Buxton will serve as the team’s on-site reporter from the Buddh International Circuit in India.

GOLF COVERAGE

Golf Channel’s weekend coverage includes the CIMB Classic tonight and Saturday at 11 p.m. ET, the BMW Masters presented by SRE Group Saturday and Sunday at 6 a.m. ET, the AT&T Championship Saturday and Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET, and the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship Saturday and Sunday at Noon ET.

Golf Channel’s team of Steve Sands (Play by Play), Curt Byrum (Analyst), Rich Beem (Tower), Dom Boulet (Tower), and Phil Parkin (On Course) will call the action for the CIMB Classic at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Steve Burkowski (Studio Host), Dougie Donnelly (Play by Play), Warren Humphreys (Analyst), and Julian Tutt (On Course) will handle coverage of the BMW Masters presented by SRE Group from Lake Malaren Golf Club in Shanghai, China.

For the AT&T Championship, Golf Channel’s team of Brian Hammons (Play by Play), Lanny Wadkins (Analyst), John Mahaffey (Tower), Dave Marr (Tower/On Course), and Billy Ray Brown (On Course) will host coverage from TPC San Antonio at AT&T Canyons Course in San Antonio, Texas.

At the Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship, Peter Donegan (Play by Play), Sandy Mackenzie (Analyst), Kate Burton (Analyst) will call the action from Sunrise Golf & Country Club in Yang Mei Taoyuan, Taiwan.

PREMIER LEAGUE COVERAGE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League coverage begins tomorrow at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Premier League Live immediately followed by Crystal Palace v. Arsenal. Coverage continues at 10 a.m. ET with Manchester United v. Stoke City on NBCSN, and the Liverpool v. West Bromwich Albion; Aston Villa v. Everton; and Norwich City v. Cardiff City matches on Premier League Extra Time. Tomorrow’s live coverage concludes with Southampton v. Fulham at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Sunday’s coverage features Premier League Live at 9:00 a.m. ET followed by Sunderland v. Newcastle United at 9:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Coverage continues at noon E.T. with Chelsea v. Manchester City on NBCSN and the Tottenham Hotspur v. Hull City and Swansea City v. West Ham United matches on Premier League Extra Time.

Lead play-by-play voice Arlo White joins former Premier League star and four-time league champion Lee Dixon to call Southampton v. Fulham on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

U.S. Men’s National Team and Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard will join White on the call of the Chelsea-Manchester City match Sunday at 12 Noon ET on NBCSN.

WORLD SERIES OF FIGHTING

World Series of Fighting (WSOF) makes its Florida debut on NBCSN Saturday at 9 p.m. ET in the promotion’s fifth show of 2013 with an exciting card of top-level mixed martial arts (MMA). This weekend’s WSOF is highlighted by the first championship fight in World Series of Fighting history between welterweights and undefeated WSOF veterans Josh “The People’s Warrior” Burkman (26-9, 6 KOs) of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Steve Carl (20-3, 2 KOs) of Belle Plaine, Iowa.

Play-by-play announcer Todd Harris and mixed martial artist and analyst Bas Rutten will call the action from BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Fla.

2013 SKATE CANADA INTERNATIONAL

NBC presents 2013 Skate Canada International coverage Sunday at 4 p.m. ET featuring performances from the men’s and ladies’ free skate competition from Harbour Station in St. John, New Brunswick in Canada.

Terry Gannon will call the action alongside analysts Johnny Weir, a two-time Olympian and three-time U.S. champion, and Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski.

NFL COVERAGE

Sunday Night Football kicks off on Sunday, when the Green Bay Packers travel to Mall of America Field in Minneapolis, Minn., to take on the Minnesota Vikings. Coverage begins with Football Night In America at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.

Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC’s famed Studio 8H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza on Sunday night. Patrick will be joined by Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl winner Rodney Harrison, Peter King, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN and NBCSports.com, and longtime NFL front office veteran and former NFL Executive of the Year Scott Pioli. Alex Flanagan will report from Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo., on the Redskins-Broncos game.

Football Night in America is hosted by 24-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from Mall of America Field in Minneapolis, Minn. Costas will be joined on site by Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth and two-time Super Bowl winner Hines Ward.

Michaels (play-by-play), Collinsworth, and Michele Tafoya (analyst) will call Sunday’s match up from Minneapolis, Minn.
