BELMONT STAKES

Coverage begins this afternoon at 4 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network from Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y., and culminates with the Belmont Stakes Saturday at 5 p.m. ET on NBC.

NBC’s coverage of the 145th Belmont Stakes is co-hosted by 25-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas and NBC’s veteran horse racing commentator Tom Hammond; two-time Belmont Stakes-winning jockey Jerry Bailey; analyst Randy Moss; contributing analysts/handicappers Mike Battaglia and Bob Neumeier; host Laffit Pincay, III; reporters Kenny Rice, Donna Brothers and Jay Privman; race caller Larry Collmus; and Michelle Beadle, who will contribute features.

NHL PLAYOFFS

NBC Sports Group’s presentation of the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs continues tonight with Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, when the Boston Bruins host the Pittsburgh Penguins at 8 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick will handle play-by-play, and will be joined by analyst Eddie Olczyk and Emmy Award-winning ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Pierre McGuire from TD Garden in Boston, Mass.

Tonight’s coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network with NHL Live hosted by Liam McHugh, Mike Milbury and Keith Jones from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn.

Saturday night’s coverage features Game 5 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, as the Chicago Blackhawks look to close out the series at home against the Los Angeles Kings (Chicago leads 3-1). Dave Strader will manage play-by-play with analyst Darren Pang and ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Brian Engblom at the United Center in Chicago, Ill.

McHugh, Milbury and Jones will host NHL Live on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

ELITE CYCLING

Critérium du Dauphiné coverage continues tonight at 11 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network, culminating on Sunday, June 8th at 5 p.m.

Steve Schlanger and Bob Roll will report from Dauphiné, France for the Critérium du Dauphiné.

FRENCH OPEN

NBC’s coverage of the French Open continues Saturday at 9 a.m. ET, with live coverage of the women’s final, and will culminate Sunday at 9 a.m. with live coverage of the men’s final.

Host Ted Robinson anchors NBC’s coverage and will be joined by analysts John McEnroe and Mary Carillo. McEnroe and Carillo teamed to win the mixed doubles title at the 1977 French Open.

FORMULA ONE: CANADIAN GRAND PRIX

Coverage of the Formula One™ Canadian Grand Prix begins Saturday, June 8th at 1 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network with the qualifying race. On Race Day, Sunday, June 9, coverage will begin at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network with a pre-race show and conclude with F1 Extra, a half-hour post-race show, on NBC immediately following the race.

In addition to Formula One coverage, NBC Sports Network will air coverage of AMA Motocross on Saturday at 5 p.m. ET and Stadium Super Trucks on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.

Leigh Diffey will call the race alongside veteran analyst and former racecar driver David Hobbs, and analyst and former race mechanic for the Benetton F1 team Steve Matchett. F1 insider Will Buxton will serve as the team’s on-site reporter from Montreal, Quebec in Canada.

1971 U.S. OPEN: LEE TREVINO AN AMERICAN CHAMPION

As the U.S. Open prepares for its return to Merion, NBC and Golf Channel will present 1971 U.S. OPEN: LEE TREVINO AN AMERICAN CHAMPION, a 60-minute retrospective documenting Trevino’s life and victory at Merion in 1971, and how he claimed his place among the great champions in U.S. Open history by beating the great Jack Nicklaus in a Monday playoff. Produced in association with the United States Golf Association, the documentary will premiere on NBC on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET, and air throughout June on Golf Channel.

MLS: VANCOUVER AT SEATTLE

NBC Sports Network’s Major League Soccer coverage this weekend features the Seattle Sounders Football Club (5-4-3, 18 pts.) hosting the Vancouver Whitecaps (4-4-4, 16 pts.). Live coverage begins Saturday at 10:30 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s MLS announce team of Arlo White (play-by-play), Kyle Martino (‘Between-the-Benches’) and Russ Thaler (analyst) will host coverage from Centurylink Field in Seattle, WA.
