Golf Reporter

Mark Rolfing serves as an on-course golf reporter during the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. With golf’s return to the Olympics after more than a 100-year absence, Rio marks Rolfing’s first Olympic assignment with NBC Sports Group.

Rolfing is currently an on-course reporter and tower announcer for Golf Channel on NBC’s coverage of the PGA Tour and has broadcast events that include The Players Championship, U.S. Open, Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup. Additionally he serves as a contributing analyst to Golf Channel’s Live From programming from the game’s biggest events, and occasional serves as a guest analyst on Morning Drive. He also served as a host for NBC Sports Group’s Road to the Ryder Cup series featuring in-depth conversations with golf’s most influential Ryder Cup players. Rolfing worked his 12th Ryder Cup in 2014 at Gleneagles in Scotland, after commencing his on-air role during the famous “War by the Shore” in 1991.

Before joining NBC Sports Group in 1997, Rolfing contributed to ABC Sports’ golf coverage for eight years. He began is his commentating career at ESPN in 1986.
