LUKE VAN VALIN
Freestyle Skiing Analyst
Luke Van Valin reprises his role as a freestyle skiing analyst for NBC Sports, having previously served in the same capacity during NBC’s coverage of the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games. This marks Van Valin’s second Olympic assignment with NBC Sports.
Since joining NBC, Van Valin has quickly established himself in the world of action-sports broadcasting, going on to commentate several notable events, including the 2011 and 2012 U.S. Open of Beach Volleyball; the 2011, 2012 and 2013 Visa U.S. Freeskiing Grand Prix; the 2011 and 2012 FIS World Championships of Free Skiing; the 2012 Sprint U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix; the 2012 Olympic Trials in BMX Racing, several Red Bull Signature Series events; and the Dew Tour for NBC.
