LEWIS JOHNSON

Bobsled, Luge & Skeleton Reporter

Lewis Johnson returns for his 10th Olympic assignment with NBC Sports, having previously served as a bobsled, luge and skeleton reporter at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. He has also served as a reporter for track and field, diving and alpine skiing at various Olympics for NBC. In addition to his Olympic coverage, Johnson has served as a reporter for NBC Sports at three Paralympic Games.

Johnson, a former international track star who broke into broadcasting as a runner for ABC Sports and ESPN,  has gone on to earn a series of coveted assignments since joining NBC Sports in 1999.

Johnson currently reports on various track and field events for NBC, as well as college football coverage on NBCSN. Johnson has also served as a sideline reporter during NBC’s coverage of Notre Dame Football, and has filed stories for Football Night in America.  Previously, he was a reporter for the NBA on NBC, NBC Sports’ Arena Football League coverage, and has anchored the NBC Sports Update Desk.
