JOE MICHELETTI

Analyst, NHL on NBC

Former NHL player and coach Joe Micheletti serves as an ‘Inside-the-Glass’ and booth analyst for NBC Sports Group’s NHL regular-season and postseason coverage, and will serve as the lead analyst for NBC Sports Radio’s coverage of the 2016 Stanley Cup Final.

Micheletti has also served as an analyst for NBC Olympics’ hockey coverage at the 2002, 2006, and 2010 Winter Games.

In addition to his work with NBC Sports Group, Micheletti is the lead analyst for MSG Network’s New York Rangers coverage, a role he has held since the 2006-07 season.

Micheletti’s six-year professional playing career included stints with the Edmonton Oilers, St. Louis Blues and Colorado Rockies. Prior to turning professional, Micheletti played three seasons under legendary coach Herb Brooks at the University of Minnesota, where they won the NCAA Championship in 1974 and 1976.

Micheletti began his broadcasting career in 1985 at KMOX-AM as a member of the St. Louis Blues radio team. He has held radio and television analyst positions with various NHL teams, including the Blues, North Stars, Islanders and Rangers, and has also handled national NHL coverage with ABC, ESPN, FOX, CBS and TNT.
