ANDREW CATALON
Andrew Catalon serves as a tennis play-by-play announcer for the 2016 Olympic Games. Rio marks Catalon’s fourth Olympics with NBC Sports Group, having most recently served as the curling play-by-play commentator at the Sochi Olympic Winter Games.
Catalon currently works as a play-by-play announcer for CBS Sports’ NCAA Basketball, Golf and NFL coverage. He previously called the Masters and PGA golf championships for CBS as well as U.S. Open tennis for CBS Sports Network. Prior to joining CBS, Catalon served as a sports anchor/reporter at WNYT, the NBC affiliate in Albany, N.Y., and freelanced at WFAN and SNY in New York City.
Catalon graduated from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, and is a native of Short Hills, N.J. He currently lives in Albany, N.Y., with his wife, Jessica.
