Aly Wagner
Aly Wagner makes her Olympic debut as a soccer analyst for NBC Sports Group during the 2016 Rio Olympics. A two-time Olympic gold medalist, Wagner played collegiately for four years at Santa Clara University alongside teammate and fellow NBC Olympics soccer analyst, Danielle Slaton.
Wagner earned the 2002 Hermann Trophy as the top collegiate soccer player in the country, and helped the Santa Clara Broncos capture the 2001 NCAA National Championship. Wagner was the first player selected in the Women’s United Soccer Association’s 2003 Draft, and played professionally for numerous teams in the U.S. and France. Wagner competed for the United States Women’s National Team from 1999 to 2008 and appeared in131 international matches, scoring 21 goals along with42 assists.
Wagner is currently a FOX Sports soccer game analyst, and recently called the action for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup matches in Canada last summer.
Wagner is married to former MLS player, Adam Eyre. The couple resides in San Jose, Calif., with their triplet sons.
