STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 23, 2024 – The PGA TOUR Farmers Insurance Open from Torrey Pines – featuring eight of the top 20 players in the world – headlines this week’s live golf coverage on GOLF Channel and Peacock.

PGA TOUR: FARMERS INSURANCE OPEN

The Farmers Insurance Open will be held from Torrey Pines Golf Club in La Jolla, Calif., this week. This marks the third straight year that the Farmers Insurance Open begins on Wednesday, with the final round scheduled for Saturday. Native Californian and six-time champion on the PGA TOUR Max Homa looks to defend his title at this event. Eight of the top 20 players in the world are expected to compete at this week’s event, including World No. 5 Xander Schauffele and World No. 6 Patrick Cantlay.

LPGA TOUR: DRIVE ON CHAMPIONSHIP

The LPGA Drive On Championship is the first full-field event of the 2024 LPGA Tour season and will be held at the Bradenton Country Club in Bradenton, Fla. 2023 Evian Championship winner and World No. 3 Celine Boutier looks to repeat as champion against a field including Nelly Korda, Lexi Thompson, Lydia Ko, Brooke Henderson, and Ruoning Yin.

DP WORLD TOUR: RAS AL KHAIMAH CHAMPIONSHIP

The DP World Tour travels to Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, this week for the Ras Al Khaimah Championship from Al Hamra Golf Club. This is the third of eight events on the Tour’s International Swing, and the third of five to be played in the Middle East. Three-time major champion Padraig Harrington headlines the field at this week’s event; also expected to compete is 22-year-old Rasmus Hojgaard, who is a three-time champion on the European Tour.

ADVOCATES PGA TOUR: APGA FARMERS INSURANCE INVITATIONAL

The final round of the APGA Farmers Insurance Invitational, played from the South Course at Torrey Pines Golf Club in La Jolla, Calif., will air live on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel and Peacock. The APGA Tour aims to help remove the financial burden associated with golf, as well as growing diversity within the game. Kamaiu Johnson and Wyatt Worthington headline a competitive field which includes former NCAA Division I golfers Quinn Riley (Duke), Chase Johnson (Kent State), and Kevin Hall (Ohio State).

2024 PGA MERCHANDISE SHOW

GOLF Channel will have an on-site presence at the 2024 PGA Merchandise Show from the Orange County National Golf Center & Lodge and Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., beginning today through Friday, Jan. 26, with special reports during Golf Today. Matt Adams, Steve Burkowski, Paige Mackenzie and Bailey Chamblee will be on-hand to conduct interviews and provide reports from the event throughout the week. Additionally, Matt Adams’ daily show Fairways of Life will begin airing live on GOLF Channel Monday-Wednesday mornings at 8 a.m. ET on Monday, Jan. 29.
