Golf Central will Provide Pre- and Post-Round Coverage Thursday-Sunday
STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 3, 2024 – The 2024 PGA TOUR season kicks off in Hawaii this Thursday with The Sentry at the Plantation Course at Kapaula, headlining this week’s live golf coverage on NBC, GOLF Channel and Peacock.
PGA TOUR: THE SENTRY
The first event of the 2024 PGA TOUR schedule, The Sentry will be held at the Plantation Course at Kapalua in Maui. The event welcomes winners from the 2023 season as well as members who finished in the top 50 of the final 2022-23 FedEx Cup standings. This event is part of the Tour’s 2024 Opening Drive, which also includes next week’s Sony Open.
Reigning PLAYERS Champion Scottie Scheffler, who led the tour in scoring average (68.629) and total strokes gained (2.314) last season, and 2023 FedExCup Champion Viktor Hovland headline the star-studded field for this first of eight Signature Events in 2024.
Four-time PGA TOUR winner Kevin Kisner will make his debut as an analyst for NBC Sports’ coverage at The Sentry, joining weekend coverage on NBC, GOLF Channel and Peacock.
Live tournament coverage begins Thursday at 6 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel and Peacock. NBC and Peacock will have Saturday and Sunday lead-in coverage, leading into live coverage on GOLF Channel and Peacock.
