NBC SPORTS AND MAKING SPACE PARTNER TO INCREASE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR DISABLED TALENT

STAMFORD, Conn. – Oct. 17, 2023 – NBC Sports and Making Space, a technology and media company, today announced a partnership in which they will work together to identify and develop on- and off-camera employment opportunities for Disabled talent for NBC Sports’ coverage of its unparalleled portfolio of sports properties and events.

Making Space will provide NBC Sports with a pre-trained talent pipeline from the Disabled community which will allow NBC to access an untapped and underrepresented workforce, paving the way for a historic increase in Disability representation at one of the world’s most recognizable media companies.

Making Space will begin their development program immediately with the goal of providing on- and off-camera talent to NBC Sports in time for its coverage of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, taking place Aug. 28 – Sept. 8.
