PEACOCK TO EXCLUSIVELY STREAM 21-GAME HOME NOTRE DAME HOCKEY SCHEDULE LIVE THIS SEASON
Fighting Irish’s Season Begins This Saturday, Oct. 7, at 6 p.m. ET against Clarkson
STAMFORD, Conn. – Oct. 5, 2023 – Peacock will exclusively stream the entire 2023-24 Notre Dame hockey 21-game home schedule live this season, beginning this Saturday, Oct. 7, when the Fighting Irish host Clarkson at 6 p.m. ET in their home opener from the Compton Family Ice Arena in South Bend, Ind. The two-game series concludes this Sunday, Oct. 8, at 5 p.m. ET on Peacock.
Notre Dame was ranked fourth in the Big Ten preseason coaches’ poll as voted on by the league’s head coaches. The Fighting Irish had three members named to preseason All-Big Ten teams – goaltender Ryan Bischel (First Team), defenseman Drew Bavaro (Second Team), and forward Landon Slaggert (Honorable Mention).
Headlining the Fighting Irish’s home schedule this season are series against Boston University (Oct. 21-22) and Michigan (Dec. 1-2), schools which both advanced to the Frozen Four last season.
Notre Dame’s Big Ten home schedule opens against Ohio State on the weekend of Nov. 10-11.
2023-24 marks the eleventh season of Notre Dame hockey coverage on NBC Sports. The Fighting Irish finished 15-14-5 last season and were advanced to the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament.
Connor Clingen (play-by-play) and former NHL defenseman Steve Konroyd (analyst) are on the call this Saturday, with Tony Simeone taking over for Clingen on Sunday.
