Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Fred Kerley, Athing Mu, Rai Benjamin and Many More Olympians Expected to Compete this Summer Across NBC Sports – Watch Them This Summer as They Prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympics!

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 18, 2023 – Two-time reigning 200m world champion Noah Lyles headlines NBC Sports’ presentation of the 2023 USATF Bermuda Grand Prix from Flora Duffy South Field Stadium in Devonshire, Bermuda, this Sunday, May 21, at 2 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. Serving as the fifth stop on the World Athletics Continental Tour (Gold), this will be the second consecutive year this meet has been held.

Lyles, coming off a 2022 season that saw him break Michael Johnson’s 200m American record (19.31) en route to winning his second 200m world title, looks to keep the momentum going as he drops down in distance to the 100m. The two-time reigning 200m world champion is set to face 2019 100m world champion Christian Coleman as well as his own younger brother, Josephus Lyles. Tokyo Olympic 200m champion Andre De Grasse (Canada) will contest the 200m.

Tara Davis-Woodhall and Quanesha Burks, the respective world number two and three in the long jump, are expected to battle in their signature event this weekend. The two dueled at the LSU Invitational on April 29, with Davis-Woodhall jumping 7.05m (+5.9) to Burks’ 6.95m (+1.6). Both women, amid breakout seasons, look to earn their first international medals at this year’s world championships in Budapest in August.

This week’s meet boasts a strong lineup of Olympic and world medalists expected to compete, including three-time Olympic medalist Dalilah Muhammad, two-time 2022 world champion Abby Steiner, two-time Olympic triple jump champion Christian Taylor, and Tokyo Olympic 400m champion Steven Gardiner (Bahamas), who will race in front of his home crowd.

NBC Sports’ Paul Swangard will call the event, joined by four-time Olympic medalist Ato Boldon (analyst) and Lewis Johnson (reporter).

Along with the USATF LA Grand Prix on May 27 and the USATF NYC Grand Prix on June 24, NBC Sports will also present the Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships on July 7-9 on Peacock and CNBC from Hayward Field at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Ore., as well as the New Balance Fifth Avenue Mile on September 10.

NBC Sports will present more than 60 hours of exclusive coverage of the Diamond League this season across NBC, Peacock, and CNBC, including 30+ hours of live coverage streaming on Peacock. All 14 meets will be presented live on Peacock, with encore presentations of most on CNBC.
