DIVISION-LEADING NEW JERSEY GENERALS FACE PHILADELPHIA STARS THIS SUNDAY AT NOON ET ON NBC AND PEACOCK

Michigan Panthers Host Pittsburgh Maulers Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock

NBC Sports and FOX Sports to Present All 43 USFL Games Live During 2023 Season

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 11, 2023 – NBC Sports presents a 2023 Week 5 USFL doubleheader this weekend, headlined by the North Division-leading New Jersey Generals facing the Philadelphia Stars on Sunday at Noon ET on NBC and Peacock from Ford Field in Detroit, Mich.

The Generals, led by former San Diego Chargers head coach (1999-2001) Mike Riley, are tied for first place in the North Division. Running back Darius Victor ranks top-five in the league in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns, while linebacker Chris Orr leads the USFL in total tackles (41). New Jersey ranks first in rushing yards per game (169.8) and has the top scoring defense in the USFL, allowing a league-low 63 points this season.

Quarterback Case Cookus, second in the league in passing yards (922) and fourth in passing touchdowns, leads the Stars. Former 2016 NFL first-round pick Corey Coleman, who was a consensus All-American at Baylor in 2015 and spent time with the Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, New York Giants, and Kansas City Chiefs during his career, ranks in the top five in both receiving yards (238) and receptions (21). Fellow wide receiver Devin Gray ranks right behind Coleman in receiving yards (227) and is second overall in receptions (25).

NBC Sports’ Jac Collinsworth (play-by-play), Super Bowl-winning fullback Michael Robinson (analyst), and Zora Stephenson (sideline reporter) will call the Generals-Stars matchup on NBC and Peacock.

The Pittsburgh Maulers take on the first-place Michigan Panthers on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock from Ford Field in Detroit, Mich. New Orleans Saints three-time All-Pro defensive end Cam Jordan will make his season debut as analyst during the game.

Pittsburgh kicker Chris Blewitt, who played for the Washington Commanders in 2021, leads the league in kicking points (37), while punt return specialist Isiah Hennie ranks first in punt return average (21.3 yards) and currently has 110 more punt return yards (161) than the player with the second-most. Defensive tackle Olive Sagapolu also leads the league in sacks.

Former San Francisco 49ers head coach (2005-2008) Mike Nolan leads the Panthers. Running back Reggie Corbin, who owns the USFL record for longest rushing touchdown (88 yards, 2022 Week 5), ranks top five in rushing yards (251), rushing yards per game (62.8), and all-purpose yards (496). Quarterback Josh Love, who played on the Rams and Panthers practice squads from 2020-2021, ranks fifth in passing yards and passing touchdowns.

NBC Sports’ Jac Collinsworth (play-by-play), Jordan (analyst), and Zora Stephenson (sideline reporter) will call the Maulers-Panthers matchup on USA Network and Peacock.

NBC Sports and FOX Sports, the USFL’s official media partners, will combine to present all 43 games live during the 2023 season. 2023 features 29 games on the NBC and FOX broadcast networks, which is a six-game increase from the league’s inaugural season. NBC Sports will present 18 games across NBC and Peacock (11) and USA Network and Peacock (7). FOX Sports will carry 25 games split between FOX (18) and FS1 (7).
