PGA TOUR: MEXICO OPEN AT VIDANTA

The PGA TOUR travels to Vallarta, Mexico, this week at the Mexico Open from Vidanta Vallarta. World No. 1 and 2023 Masters champion Jon Rahm looks to defend his 2022 title – the first time this competition was recognized as an official PGA TOUR event.

Live coverage begins tomorrow and Friday at 3:30 p.m. ET on Peacock and GOLF Channel. During the weekend, live coverage begins at 1 p.m. ET on Peacock and GOLF Channel on both days.

LPGA TOUR: JM EAGLE LA CHAMPIONSHIP

The 2023 LPGA Tour season continues this week with the inaugural playing of the JM Eagle LA Championship at Wilshire Country Club in Los Angeles, Calif. It features a 144-player field competing for a purse of $3 million, one of the largest prize funds for a non-major on the LPGA Tour.

Live coverage gets underway Thursday and Friday in primetime at 6:30 p.m. ET on Peacock and GOLF Channel. Weekend coverage on both days starts at 6 p.m. ET on Peacock and GOLF Channel.

Last week’s Chevron Championship – the first major of the LPGA season – delivered viewership milestones for NBC Sports. Final round coverage on NBC and Peacock had a Total Audience Delivery of 941,000 viewers, and peaked in the 7:15-7:30 p.m. ET quarter hour with a 1.0 rating and 1.54 million viewers, as Lilia Vu defeated Angel Yin in a playoff.

Overall, it was the most-watched Chevron Championship since 2010 and NBC Sports’ most watched edition of the event on record.

The inaugural playing of the DP World Tour’s Korea Championship will be held this weekend from Jack Nicklaus Golf Club in Incheon, South Korea. Co-sponsored by the DP World Tour and the Korean PGA Tour, the field is made up of players from both circuits. The most recent official event the DP World Tour held in South Korea was in 2013.
