STAMFORD, Conn. – April 19, 2023 – NBC Sports surrounds The Chevron Championship – the LPGA Tour’s first major championship of 2023 – with more than 20 hours of live coverage from The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas, headlining this week’s golf coverage across NBC, Peacock and GOLF Channel.
LPGA TOUR: THE CHEVRON CHAMPIONSHIP
The LPGA Tour hosts its first major championship of the 2023 season this week at The Chevron Championship, which will be held for the first time at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas. The star-studded field features World No. 1 Lydia Ko, World No. 2 Nelly Korda, defending major champion Jennifer Kupcho, and Lexi Thompson, among others.
Today’s hour-long edition of Golf Central previewing The Chevron Championship featuring analysis, on-site reports and interviews will air at 4 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel.
20 hours of live coverage begins tomorrow and Friday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. as well as in primetime from 6-8 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel. Saturday and Sunday’s coverage gets underway at 2 p.m. ET exclusively on Peacock, continues on GOLF Channel at 3 p.m. ET, with the final two hours of live coverage on NBC at 4 p.m. ET. All coverage streams on Peacock.

PGA TOUR: ZURICH CLASSIC OF NEW ORLEANS
The PGA TOUR’s only official team competition of the season — the Zurich Classic of New Orleans — takes place this week at TPC Louisiana in Avondale, La. The pairing of Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele won last year’s event while setting a tournament scoring record and will look to defend their title against a field that includes last week’s RBC Heritage winner Matt Fitzpatrick playing alongside his brother Alex Fitzpatrick, as well as last year’s runner-up team of Sam Burns and Billy Horschel.
Live coverage is presented on Thursday and Friday from 3-6 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel and Peacock, while lead-in coverage on Saturday and Sunday will air from 1-3 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel and Peacock.

PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS: INVITED CELEBRITY CLASSIC
The PGA TOUR Champions’ Invited Celebrity Classic is held at Las Colinas Country Club in Irving, Texas, this week. Scott Parel won the inaugural playing of the event last year. The 54-hole event also features a celebrity tournament, which will be played under the modified Stableford System and is expected to include Tony Romo, John Smoltz and Annika Sorenstam.
Live coverage begins Friday at 1 p.m. ET on NBC Sports digital platforms and will air live on GOLF Channel and Peacock on Saturday and Sunday starting at 4 p.m. ET.

The DP World Tour returns to action this week with the ISPS Handa Championship at PGM Ishioka Golf Club in Omitama, Japan. The event marks the first DP World Tour tournament to be officially held in Japan, with the field consisting of players from both the DP World Tour and the Japan Golf Tour.
