STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 18, 2023 – The LPGA Tour opens its 2023 season at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions from Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Fla., headlining live golf coverage this week across NBC, GOLF Channel and Peacock.

LPGA TOUR: HILTON GRAND VACATIONS TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

The 2023 LPGA Tour season begins this week at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions from Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando. Danielle Kang looks to defend her 2022 title against a field featuring World No. 2 Nelly Korda, Brooke Henderson and Jennifer Kupcho.

Celebrities also participate as part of this annual event in a Stableford format, with Annika Sorenstam, Larry Fitzgerald, Mardy Fish and defending champion Derek Lowe headlining this year’s field.

Yesterday, NBC Sports announced its 2023 women’s golf schedule, which will feature a record nearly 450 hours of live coverage and the most-ever hours of live coverage on NBC broadcast network. Click here for more details.

Live coverage begins tomorrow at noon ET on GOLF Channel and Peacock. Sunday final round coverage gets underway at 2 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

PGA TOUR: THE AMERICAN EXPRESS

Following two weeks in Hawaii, the PGA TOUR returns to the continental U.S. with The American Express from PGA West and La Quinta Country Club in California. The star-studded field features 10 of the top 20 players in the Official World Golf Ranking, including Jon Rahm, who won this year’s Sentry Tournament of Champions and won The American Express in 2018.

Live coverage is presented Thursday-Sunday from 3-7 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel and Peacock.

Last weekend’s coverage of the PGA TOUR’s Sony Open in Hawaii delivered the most-watched edition of the event since 2007, averaging 417,000 viewers across four-day coverage on NBC and GOLF Channel. Weekend coverage on NBC and GOLF Channel averaged 516,000 viewers, up 62% from last year’s weekend viewership on GOLF Channel.

The second event of the DP World Tour’s two-week stay in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, is held at Yas Links this week. 2022 tournament champion Thomas Pieters aims to defend his title. The tournament also marks the first 2023 Rolex Series event.
