STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 11, 2023 – Seven-time Olympic champion and multiple world record holder Katie Ledecky, four-time Olympic champion Ryan Murphy, three-time Olympic medalist Regan Smith, two-time Olympic champion Bobby Finke, and two-time Olympic champion Simone Manuel headline NBC Sports’ live streaming coverage on Peacock of the first stop of the TYR Pro Swim Series this week in Knoxville, Tenn., at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center at the University of Tennessee.

Live coverage begins tomorrow, Jan. 12, at 6 p.m. ET on Peacock, and continues Friday, Jan. 13, at 6 p.m. ET on Peacock. An encore presentation of Day 1’s action will be presented on Saturday, Jan. 14, on CNBC at 11:30 a.m. ET with an encore presentation of Day 2 later that day on CNBC at 1 p.m. ET. In addition, NBC will broadcast a highlights show on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Ledecky, coming off a successful 2022 season that saw her net four gold medals at the World Championships, is expected to compete in the women’s 400m freestyle and 1500m freestyle. She holds the world and meet records in both events. Murphy, who won two gold medals at the 2022 World Championships, is expected to compete in the 100m butterfly, 100m backstroke and 200m backstroke, the latter two events he won at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Finke is expected to compete in the men’s 800m freestyle and 1500m freestyle, both events which he won at the Tokyo Olympics. Smith is expected to compete in multiple events, including the 200m butterfly, her silver medal-winning event at the Tokyo Olympics. Manuel, competing in her first top-level event since the Tokyo Olympics, is expected to swim in the 50m free and 100m free.

This week’s competition is the first of four stops in the 2023 TYR Pro Swim Series, which continues in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Westmont, Ill., and Mission Viejo, Calif.
