STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 11, 2023 – NBC Sports presents a pair of Super Wild Card Weekend matchups in primetime this weekend, headlined by Joe Burrow and the defending AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals hosting Mark Andrews and the AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens from Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, Sunday at 8:15 p.m. ET on NBC, Peacock, and Telemundo.

NBC Sports’ Super Wild Card Weekend coverage kicks off with Trevor Lawrence and the AFC South champion Jacksonville Jaguars hosting their first playoff game in five years against Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers from TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Fla., Saturday at 8:15 p.m. ET on NBC, Peacock and Universo.

Special editions of Football Night in America, the most-watched studio show in sports, begin coverage both nights at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

NO. 5 CHARGERS (10-7) AT NO. 4 JAGUARS (9-8) SATURDAY AT 8:15 P.M. ET ON NBC, PEACOCK AND UNIVERSO; FNIA BEGINS COVERAGE AT 7:30 P.M. ET

Jacksonville won the AFC South after finishing in last place in 2021. Currently on a five-game winning streak, the Jaguars clinched the division title after defeating the Titans, 20-16, in a comeback victory in Week 18. Lawrence, making his playoff debut, finished fifth in the AFC in passing yards with 4,113 this year, and became the sixth quarterback drafted No. 1 overall since 2000 to reach the postseason in one of his first two career seasons. Defensively, linebacker Foyesade Oluokun led the league in tackles (184). Doug Pederson has joined Mike Holmgren and Pro Football Hall of Famer Bill Parcells as the only head coaches to follow a Super Bowl win by taking another franchise to the playoffs in their first season with that team.

The Chargers reached the playoffs for the first time since 2018 after winning five of their last seven games. Herbert, who will also be making his playoff debut, ranked second in the league with 4,739 passing yards. He became the first player in NFL history with at least 4,500 passing yards in two of his first three seasons. Austin Ekeler led all running backs with a career-high 107 catches and 18 total touchdowns (13 rushing, 5 receiving) this year.

The Chargers hold a 9-4 advantage in the all-time series with the Jaguars winning 38-10 in Week 3 earlier this season. Lawrence passed for 262 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions for a 115.5 passer rating in the Week 3 victory.

Al Michaels and Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach Tony Dungy (analyst) will call Chargers-Jaguars, joined by sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung and three-time Super Bowl referee and rules analyst Terry McAulay.

NBC Sports’ coverage of Los Angeles-Jacksonville is led by executive producer Fred Gaudelli and director Pierre Moossa.

Saturday’s edition of Football Night in America features host Maria Taylor, former NFL head coach Jason Garrett, former NFL quarterback Chris Simms, NFL Insider Mike Florio, and fantasy sports industry pioneer Matthew Berry. Co-host Jac Collinsworth and two-time Super Bowl champion Rodney Harrison will provide reports at TIAA Bank Field.

NO. 6 RAVENS (10-7) AT NO. 3 BENGALS (12-4) SUNDAY AT 8:15 P.M. ET ON NBC, PEACOCK AND TELEMUNDO; FNIA KICKS OFF COVERAGE AT 7:30 P.M. ET

Cincinnati earned its second consecutive AFC North division title and finished the regular season on an eight-game winning streak. Burrow finished the year fifth in the league in passing with 4,475 yards and tied for second in passing touchdowns with 35. Ja’Marr Chase (1,046) and Tee Higgins (1,029) each recorded more than 1,000 receiving yards for an offense that ranked fifth in passing yardage per game (265). The Bengals own a 6-1 home record this season.

Baltimore is in the playoffs for the fourth time in the past five seasons, marking head coach John Harbaugh’s 10th playoff appearance. Led by a defense that allowed the third fewest points per game in the NFL (18.5), the Ravens’ rushing attack ranked second in the league with 160 yards per contest. Andrews finished the year second among AFC tight ends with 847 receiving yards.

The Ravens lead the all-time series, 28-26, after splitting this year’s regular season games. Sunday will mark the first postseason matchup between the rivals.

Mike Tirico will call Ravens-Bengals with 17-time Emmy Award winner Cris Collinsworth (analyst), who spent his eight-year NFL career with the Bengals and finished as the team’s all-time receptions leader, with Melissa Stark (sideline reporter) and McAulay serving as rules analyst.

NBC Sports’ coverage on Sunday is led by coordinating producer Rob Hyland and director Drew Esocoff.

Taylor hosts Sunday’s Football Night in America with Garrett, Simms, Florio and Berry. Jac Collinsworth, Harrison and Dungy will provide reports at Paycor Stadium.
