Notre Dame Alum Corey Robinson and Boston College Alum Pete Mitchell to Join Host Kathryn Tappen During Pregame, Halftime and Postgame Coverage

STAMFORD, Conn. – Nov. 18, 2022 – The No. 18 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (7-3) host the Boston College Eagles (3-7) looking to win their fifth consecutive game tomorrow, Nov. 19, in the 2022 home finale at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind., at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

The No. 18 Fighting Irish beat the Navy Midshipmen, 35-32, at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md., last Saturday to win their fourth straight game. Quarterback Drew Pyne led the offensive attack, recording 269 passing yards and four touchdowns while adding a score on the ground. Wide receiver Braden Lenzy totaled 67 receiving yards and a touchdown.

The Eagles beat then-No. 16 NC State Wolfpack, 21-20, on the road last Saturday. Quarterback Emmett Morehead threw for 330 yards and three touchdowns and wide receiver Zay Flowers recorded seven catches for 130 yards and a pair of scores in the come-from-behind victory.

NBC Sports’ most recent Fighting Irish game that featured a 35-14 win over the then-No. 4 Clemson Tigers was the most-watched Notre Dame game in over a year and the most-watched Notre Dame game in primetime since 2020. Notre Dame holds a 16-9 all-time series advantage over Boston College, having won the past seven matchups.

NBC Sports’ Jac Collinsworth (play-by-play) and Jason Garrett (game analyst) will call the Notre Dame home season finale with Zora Stephenson (sideline reporter) and Terry McAulay (rules analyst).

Kathryn Tappen will host pregame, halftime and postgame coverage from Notre Dame Stadium alongside guest analysts and alums Corey Robinson (Notre Dame) and Pete Mitchell (Boston College).

Former Notre Dame wide receiver Corey Robinson was named a First-Team Academic All-American in 2014 and received the Notre Dame Knute Rockne Student-Athlete Award the same season.

Nine-year NFL tight end Pete Mitchell spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants and Detroit Lions where he totaled 2,885 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. Mitchell was a First-Team All-American selection in 1993 and 1994 and holds the Boston College tight end records for receptions (190), receiving yards (2,388), and receiving touchdowns (20).
