MIKE TIRICO HITS MILESTONE AS PLAY-BY-PLAY VOICE OF 200 NFL REGULAR-SEASON GAMES
STAMFORD, Conn. – October 19, 2022 – Last weekend in Philadelphia, Mike Tirico served as the television play-by-play voice for his 200th NFL regular season game as the Eagles hosted the Dallas Cowboys on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
Tirico, who has also called four NFL playoff games and three Pro Bowls, joins Cris Collinsworth in the booth this Sunday as the Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Miami Dolphins on NBC and Peacock (8:20 p.m. ET).
Sunday marks his 21st Steelers game, the second-most frequent team (Saints, 23) Tirico has covered in his 17 consecutive seasons calling NFL games (2006-15 with ESPN, 2016-present with NBC). In addition, this week’s game will be Tirico’s seventh NFL play-by-play assignment in Hard Rock Stadium and his 13th time covering the Dolphins.
