STAMFORD, Conn. – June 30, 2022 – Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy highlight a star-studded field headlining the JP McManus Pro-Am from The Golf Course at Adare Manor in Ireland on Monday, July 4 and Tuesday, July 5 exclusively on Peacock and available to GolfPass subscribers.
The JP McManus Pro-Am field features 11 of the top 12 players on the Official World Golf Ranking. Players expected to compete include McIlroy, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Jon Rahm, Collin Morikawa, Cameron Smith, 2022 U.S. Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick, Patrick Cantlay, Sam Burns, Xander Schauffele, and more. Woods is expected to compete in his first tournament action since the PGA Championship in May.
Played every five years as a fund raiser for more than 100 charities in the midwest region of Ireland, the 2022 edition of the JP McManus Pro-Am – postponed in 2020 due the global pandemic – also will feature celebrities from film and sport competing alongside the pros, including actors Mark Wahlberg and Jamie Dornan, and famous former soccer stars Alan Hansen and Kenny Daglish. The professionals will each compete in a 36-hole stroke-play tournament, while teams of four will compete separately in a custom version of a Texas Scramble.

This weekend’s event takes place at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, N.J., which served as the host of the 2017 Presidents Cup.
