Roland-Garros Coverage Continues Live Tomorrow, June 2 with Semifinal Action Beginning at 11 a.m. ET

Dan Hicks, Mary Carillo & John McEnroe to Call the Action; Maria Taylor to Host Coverage from Paris

STAMFORD, Conn. – June 1, 2022 – NBC Sports’ live coverage of 2022 Roland-Garros matches continues with the final rounds this weekend from Paris, France, beginning with the women’s semifinals tomorrow, June 2 at 11 a.m. ET on Peacock and NBC.

The Grand Slam culminates with the women’s final live on Saturday, June 4 at 9 a.m. ET and the men’s final live on Sunday, June 5 at 9 a.m. ET on Peacock and NBC.

Live coverage continues tomorrow with the women’s semifinal round as 18-year-old American Coco Gauff, who defeated Sloane Stephens in the quarterfinals, faces Martina Trevisan of Italy. Gauff and Trevisan are both making their first appearance in a Grand Slam singles semifinal.

World No. 1 Iga Świątek of Poland, who extended her winning streak to 33 consecutive matches by beating American Jessica Pegula in the quarterfinals, faces Daria Kasatkina in the other women’s semifinal match tomorrow.

On Friday, the men’s semifinal round will be presented live at 11 a.m. ET. The semifinals are headlined by 21-time Grand Slam singles champion and World No. 5 Rafael Nadal, the “King of Clay,” who defeated World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals and looks to extend his record by capturing his 14th career Roland-Garros title. Joining Nadal in the semifinal round are World No. 3 Alexander Zverev, who topped World No. 6 Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals, 2014 U.S. Open champion Marin Čilić, and Casper Ruud of Norway.

Live semifinal coverage on Thursday and Friday will be available across the country on Peacock at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. Coverage on NBC on Thursday and Friday will be presented at 11 a.m. ET/PT (live ET).

NBC Sports’ Dan Hicks handles play-by-play alongside analysts Mary Carillo and John McEnroe, who teamed to win the mixed doubles title at the 1977 French Open. McEnroe is a seven-time Grand Slam singles champion.

Maria Taylor will host the Roland-Garros women’s and men’s semifinals and finals this Thursday through Sunday on NBC and Peacock. Taylor will be on-site in Paris, anchoring coverage around the matches, and will interview the women’s and men’s champions on Court Philippe-Chatrier on Saturday and Sunday.

NBC Sports and Roland-Garros: In 1975, NBC became the first American television network to provide coverage of the French Open when the network signed a three-year deal with the French Tennis Federation. The tournament was covered by CBS from 1980-82 and returned to NBC in 1983, where it has remained since. This is NBC Sports’ 40th consecutive year presenting the event.
