NBC SPORTS NEXT’S SPORTSENGINE PARTNERS WITH USA SOFTBALL AS OFFICIAL TECHNOLOGY PROVIDER
SportsEngine becomes the official provider of member management services to
USA Softball
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN / May 26, 2022 – NBC Sports Next, the sports technology division of NBC Sports and home to the sports software platform, SportsEngine, announced today it has formed a new eight-year partnership with USA Softball, the national governing body for the sport of softball in the United States.
USA Softball is the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States with a membership of more than 120,000 amateur teams nationwide while also being a member of the sport’s World Governing Body, the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), which oversees the sport at the international level.
USA Softball and its local associations will utilize SportsEngine’s member management suite of tools to manage their league, club, coach and athlete membership data. The suite provides robust reporting, powerful financial tools, enhanced communication, rostering and more to USA Softball and its local associations. Additionally, USA Softball will utilize SportsEngine’s safety suite which includes background checks, abuse prevention training and access to SportsEngine’s learning management system of safety resources and its Tourney Machine platform for tournament and event management. A true online ecosystem, the solution will connect all organizations for automated data sharing and access to resources.

More than 1 million teams, leagues and clubs across all sports use NBC Sports Next’s suite of solutions to run their website, tournaments, leagues, online registration and mobile apps. Through these applications, sports teams, clubs and leagues are able to drastically reduce the time they spend on administration and communication, allowing them to focus more time on developing their athletes.
