NBC SPORTS TO SURROUND 2022 NCAA WOMEN’S AND MEN’S GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS WITH NEARLY 80 HOURS OF COVERAGE ON GOLF CHANNEL

Comprehensive NCAA Women’s and Men’s Golf Championships Coverage to Anchor 14 Consecutive Days of Live Tournament Coverage on GOLF Channel

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 19, 2022 – NBC Sports surrounds the 2022 NCAA Women’s and Men’s Golf Championships with nearly 80 hours of coverage Presented by Stifel and Geico on GOLF Channel over the next two weeks from Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., beginning with the Women’s Individual and Team Match Play Championships on Monday, May 23, through Wednesday, May 25.

GOLF Channel will present close to 30 hours of live Championship coverage for both the Women’s and Men’s Championships (May 30-June 1) where individual and team championships will be awarded. Extensive encores of each event will also be presented on GOLF Channel, totaling nearly 20 hours for each Championship. College Central and Golf Central will provide pre- and post-event coverage all six days of the NCAA Golf Championships.

Comprehensive coverage of the NCAA Women’s and Men’s Golf Championships anchors 14 consecutive days of live golf tournament coverage on GOLF Channel. Arizona State serves as host of both Championships at Grayhawk Golf Club, marking the second of three consecutive championships that will be held at the club.

NCAA WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 2022 NCAA Women’s Individual Championship will be decided on Monday, May 23, at 5 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel. Rachel Heck (Stanford University) is the reigning champion. Women’s Team Match Play quarterfinals and semifinals will be held on Tuesday, May 24, and the Team National Championship will be presented on Wednesday, May 25, at 5 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel. University of Mississippi won the 2021 team title, but did not advance to this year’s Championship field.

NCAA MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 2022 NCAA Men’s Individual Championship will be awarded on Monday, May 30, at 5 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel. Turk Pettit (Clemson University) is the reigning champion. The final PGA TOUR University Velocity Global Ranking of the 2022 season will be confirmed after the conclusion of the Men’s Individual Championship.

The Men’s Team Match Play quarterfinals and semifinals will be held on Tuesday, May 31, and the Team National Championship will be presented on Wednesday, June 1, at 5 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel. Pepperdine University looks to defend its 2021 team title.
