STAMFORD, Conn. – May 11, 2022 – The undefeated Birmingham Stallions (4-0), led by USFL all-purpose yards leader Victor Bolden Jr. (707 yards), face the second-place Philadelphia Stars (2-2) and receiving touchdown leader Diondre Overton (three) at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Ala., this Sunday at Noon ET on NBC and Peacock.

The Stallions continued their unbeaten season last weekend, defeating South Division rival Tampa Bay Bandits, 16-10. The Stallions’ defense registered four sacks against the Bandits and held them scoreless in the second half, while USFL scoring leader Brandon Aubrey converted three late field goals to lead Birmingham to victory. The Stars edged the Michigan Panthers 26-25 last Friday, behind a go-ahead field goal with five minutes remaining. Philadelphia quarterback Case Cookus threw for 190 yards and two touchdowns, while Overton tallied 73 receiving yards and one touchdown catch.

Jac Collinsworth will handle Sunday’s play-by-play commentary alongside former Dallas Cowboys head coach and NFL quarterback Jason Garrett as analyst on NBC and Peacock. Zora Stephenson will serve as sideline reporter.

NBC Sports’ Week 5 USFL coverage begins Friday with a primetime matchup pitting the Michigan Panthers (1-3), featuring the league’s third-leading rusher Reggie Corbin (308 yards) and quarterback Shea Patterson, against quarterback Jordan Ta’amu, who ranks second in the league with 627 passing yards, and the Tampa Bay Bandits (2-2) at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network.

Corbin rushed for 152 yards, including an 88-yard touchdown, in the Panthers’ 26-25 loss to the Stars last week. Ta’amu threw for 125 yards and a score while adding another 34 yards on the ground in the Bandits’ 16-10 loss to the Stallions in Week 4.

Paul Burmeister (play-by-play), former NFL fullback Michael Robinson (analyst) and New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan, who will be making his debut as a USFL analyst, will call Friday’s primetime matchup on USA Network. Corey Robinson will serve as the sideline reporter.

NBC Sports and FOX Sports, the USFL’s official media partners, will combine to present all 43 games live this inaugural season. For the 2022 USFL season, NBC Sports will present 22 games on NBC (9), USA Network (9), and Peacock (4), which will also stream all games broadcast on NBC. FOX Sports will carry 22 games split between FOX (14) and FS1 (8).
