STAMFORD, Conn. – March 30, 2022 – The Augusta National Women’s Amateur and the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals from Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.; the Chevron Championship from Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif., the first major of the LPGA Tour season; and the PGA TOUR’s Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio highlight NBC Sports’ live golf coverage across NBC, GOLF Channel and Peacock this week.

AUGUSTA NATIONAL WOMEN’S AMATEUR

The third edition of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur takes place this week with the final round from Augusta National Golf Club airing live Saturday at noon ET on NBC and Peacock. An international field of 72 women amateurs will compete in 54 holes of stroke play. The first 36 holes will be contested at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Augusta today and Thursday before a cut takes place. The final 30 players will compete in the final round on Saturday.

For the first time, “Making The Cut” second round coverage from Champions Retreat Golf Club will stream live on NBC Sports and Augusta National Women’s Amateur digital platforms Thursday at 2 p.m. ET. The two hours of coverage will feature holes 9 and 18 – and full coverage of a playoff, if necessary – as the field aims to make the cut for Saturday’s final round at Augusta National Golf Club. Steve Burkowski will call the action with Paige Mackenzie, Kay Cockerill, Jim ‘Bones’ Mackay, and Kathryn Tappen.

The star-studded field features 22 of the top 25 players in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, including Rose Zhang (Stanford), Rachel Heck (Stanford), 2021 Augusta National Women’s Amateur runner-up Emilia Migliaccio (Wake Forest), Rachel Kuehn (Wake Forest), and Megha Ganne.

LPGA TOUR: CHEVRON CHAMPIONSHIP

The LPGA Tour hosts its first major championship of the 2022 season this week at Mission Hills Country Club, as NBC Sports presents more than 20 hours of live coverage of The Chevron Championship on GOLF Channel.

Twenty-two of the top 25 players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings are slated to compete this week, including defending champion Patty Tavatanakit and world No. 1 Jin Young Ko, who has won five times in her last nine starts and has finished in the top ten in all of those starts.

Thursday-Friday coverage on GOLF Channel will air live from 12-4 p.m. ET and 7-9 p.m. ET, while Saturday-Sunday coverage on GOLF Channel will air live from 5-9 p.m. ET.
