Golf Central Live From THE PLAYERS Provides Pre- and Post-Ceremony Coverage and Previews THE PLAYERS

STAMFORD, Conn. – March 8, 2022 Tiger Woods headlines the 2022 World Golf Hall of Fame class along with Susie Maxwell Berning, Tim Finchem and Marion Hollins, who will all be celebrated and profiled during GOLF Channel’s exclusive live coverage of their induction ceremony at the PGA TOUR’s ‘Global Home’ headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., this Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m. ET.

Berning will join Woods in being inducted in the “competitors” category, while former PGA TOUR Commissioner Finchem and Hollins will be enshrined for their contributions to the game.

David Feherty will host the 2022 World Golf Hall of Fame induction ceremony and GOLF Channel will surround the event with special editions of Golf Central Live from THE PLAYERS.

Rich Lerner anchors Live From coverage alongside Brandel Chamblee and Paul McGinley. Jaime Diaz will contribute with reports from Todd Lewis. Damon Hack will conduct interviews from the ceremony.

Pre-ceremony coverage begins at 6 p.m. ET and will include features on all four inductees led by Lerner, providing an in-depth look into each person’s significant contributions to the game of golf, leading into live ceremony coverage at 7 p.m. ET. Post-ceremony coverage will feature live interviews, recap the night and take a look ahead to this week’s iteration of THE PLAYERS.

In addition to honoring the four newest Hall of Fame members, the induction ceremony also will recognize Dick Ferris and Peter Ueberroth, as recipients of a newly created lifetime achievement award for their contributions to the sport. Additionally, Renee Powell will be honored for her spirit in advancing diversity in golf, as the inaugural recipient of the Charlie Sifford Award presented by Southern Company.
