Coverage of PGA TOUR Champions’ Cologuard Classic from Tucson, Ariz., Begins Thursday at 7 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel

STAMFORD, Conn. – Feb. 23, 2022 – The PGA TOUR kicks off its 2022 Florida swing this week with the Honda Classic from PGA National (Champion course) in Palm Beach Gardens as NBC Sports presents live coverage across NBC, GOLF Channel, and Peacock.

NBC Sports’ Kathryn Tappen makes her debut as lead interviewer this week at the Honda Classic. Also this week at the Honda Classic, Jim ‘Bones’ Mackay returns as an on-course reporter as Justin Thomas, whom he is caddying for this season, is not participating in the event.

GOLF Channel also presents coverage of the PGA TOUR Champions’ Cologuard Classic from Tucson, Ariz., this week, beginning Friday at 7 p.m. ET.

PGA TOUR: HONDA CLASSIC

The PGA TOUR’s 2022 Florida swing kicks off this week with the Honda Classic from PGA National (Champion course) in Palm Beach Gardens, featuring the daunting Bear Trap on holes 15-17.

GOLF Channel presents live coverage Thursday and Friday beginning at 2 p.m. ET. Over the weekend, coverage on GOLF Channel begins at 1 p.m. ET, followed by coverage on NBC and Peacock at 3 p.m. ET.

The Cologuard Classic, hosted by the Tucson Conquistadores, features a strong field from Omni Tucson National Golf Resort in Tucson, Ariz., this week. Bernhard Langer, who earned his 43rd career PGA TOUR Champions victory last week at the Chubb Classic, is two wins away from tying Hale Irwin’s record of 45 victories.

Coverage gets underway Friday at 7 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel.
