KATIE NOLAN JOINS NBC OLYMPICS TEAM FOR 2022 WINTER GAMES

Stamford, Conn. — Feb. 3, 2022 – Emmy Award-winning multiplatform sports host KATIE NOLAN has joined NBC Olympics, it was announced today. Nolan will create daily short-form content, which will be distributed across linear and digital platforms.

“We are excited to welcome Katie to Team NBC Olympics, where her unique storytelling ability will be utilized across multiple platforms,” said REBECCA CHATMAN, Vice President and Coordinating Producer of NBC Olympics production.

“I always dreamed I’d go to the Olympics one day,” Nolan said. “Technically in the dream I was winning gold for Team USA, but I’m thrilled at the chance to win one with Team NBC Olympics. We get medals for this, right?”

For the last four years (2017-21), Nolan served as a television, streaming and podcast host across multiple ESPN programs and platforms, including her weekly sports comedy show, Always Late with Katie Nolan. Previously, she was a host at Fox Sports 1, where her show Garbage Time with Katie Nolan won a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Social TV Experience. In addition, Nolan hosted “NFL Films Presents,” provided content for Fox Sports.com and was one of the original hosts on Crowd Goes Wild, alongside Regis Philbin.

NBCUniversal will provide coverage of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games from Feb. 2-20. The Opening Ceremony will be presented on Friday, Feb. 4, live in the morning and again in primetime on NBC and Peacock. Similar to recent Winter Games, NBC’s primetime Olympic coverage begins the night before the Opening Ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 3. Coverage begins on Wednesday, Feb. 2, on USA Network and Peacock. NBCUniversal is presenting its 18th Olympic Games, 12th consecutive overall, and sixth straight Winter Games, all the most by any U.S. media company.
