PGA TOUR’s 2022 Hawaii Swing Begins This Week at the Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort in Maui

Star-Studded Field Features Eight of Top 10 Players in the Official World Golf Ranking

STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 5, 2022 – The beginning of the PGA TOUR’s 2022 calendar year gets underway at the Sentry Tournament of Champions at Kapalua Resort (Plantation Course) in Maui, Hawaii, live in primetime this Thursday-Sunday across NBC, GOLF Channel and Peacock.

SENTRY TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

The Sentry Tournament of Champions features a field of players that all won PGA TOUR events during the calendar year of 2021 or won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. The star-studded field features eight of the top 10 players in the Official World Golf Ranking: Jon Rahm (1), Collin Morikawa (2), Patrick Cantlay (4), Bryson DeChambeau (5), Xander Schauffele (6), Viktor Hovland (7), Justin Thomas (8) and Sam Burns (10). Harris English looks to defend his 2021 title.

The tournament begins the PGA TOUR’s 2022 Hawaii Swing and is the first of two consecutive events taking place in the state with the Sony Open next week.

Live coverage gets underway Thursday at 6 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel.
