U.S. OLYMPIC TEAM TRIALS FOR SKI JUMPING PRESENTED LIVE SATURDAY AT 12:30 P.M. ET ON NBC AND PEACOCK

Nordic Combined Trials Coverage to be Featured Throughout Broadcast

Paul Burmeister, Three-Time Olympic Silver Medalist Johnny Spillane, and Naoko Funayama to Call Christmas Day Trials Coverage

STAMFORD, Conn.Dec. 23, 2021 – The U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Ski Jumping is presented this Saturday on Christmas Day from the Olympic Jumping Complex in Lake Placid, N.Y., live at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. The winner of the men’s event is guaranteed a spot on the 2022 U.S. Olympic team and the women’s winner will earn a spot on the U.S. Olympic team should the U.S. women qualify via World Cup competition in the coming weeks.

The field of Olympic hopefuls includes 2018 Olympian Kevin Bickner, Lake Placid native and four-time U.S. national champion Nina Lussi, and 21-year-old Decker Dean.

Saturday’s broadcast will feature coverage of the Nordic combined Trials, also taking place in Lake Placid, where Taylor Fletcher attempts to make a fourth Olympic team.

Play-by-play commentator Paul Burmeister will call the action on Christmas Day with analyst and three-time Olympic silver medalist Johnny Spillane, and reporter Naoko Funayama, who will be on-site in Lake Placid.

Coverage on NBC is live streamed on NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app. Peacock will also provide live streaming coverage.
