Nearly 80 Hours of Live Trials Coverage Across Men’s and Women’s Curling Finals to be Presented Over Next 10 Days

Live Coverage of Men’s and Women’s Finals Presented Nov. 19-21 on NBCSN and Peacock

STAMFORD, Conn.Nov. 12, 2021 – 10 consecutive days of exclusive live coverage of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Curling, totaling nearly 80 hours, get underway this evening on NBCSN, NBC Sports digital platforms, and Peacock from Baxter Arena in Omaha, Neb.

Team Shuster, led by three of the four members of the men’s U.S. 2018 Olympic gold medal-winning team including John Shuster, Matt Hamilton, and John Landsteiner, face Team Brundidge tonight in a round robin draw at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app.

A number of PyeongChang Olympians on the women’s side will be competing, featuring Tabitha Peterson, Nina Roth, Becca Hamilton and Aileen Geving, all members of Team Peterson. Team Peterson opens draw play against Team Strouse Saturday morning at 10 a.m. ET on NBC Sports digital platforms.

Coverage of the men’s and women’s finals features two fields of six teams competing for a spot in both the men’s and women’s division to represent the U.S. at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Last month, Vicky Persinger and Chris Plys won the mixed doubles competition and will represent the U.S. at the 2021 World Curling mixed doubles qualification event in December for an opportunity to compete for Team USA at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Men’s and women’s round robin draw coverage will continue daily through Thurs., Nov. 18 on NBC Sports digital platforms. The men’s and women’s finals, which are contested under a best-of-three format, will be presented Fri., Nov. 19-Sun., Nov. 21 on NBCSN and Peacock.

Jason Knapp will call the action from Omaha on NBCSN, alongside 2010 Olympic gold medalist Kevin Martin (analyst), 2006 Olympic bronze medalist Pete Fenson (analyst), and Corey Robinson (reporter).

Coverage on NBCSN is live streamed on NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app and will also be available on Peacock.
