With four games remaining in the season, Notre Dame continue their push to make the College Football Playoffs for the third time in the past four seasons.

Navy topped Tulsa, 20-17, last weekend as the Midshipmen rushed for 302 yards without completing a pass, marking their first win without a completion since 2017. This season, Navy is averaging 222.5 yards per game on the ground and have rushed for 300 or more yards three times.

Notre Dame meets Navy for the 94th time, dating back to the inaugural meeting in the series in 1927. Notre Dame leads the all-time series, 79-13-1, and has won the past three meetings, including a 52-20 victory in South Bend in 2019. Prior to last season when Notre Dame played a full ACC schedule, the Fighting Irish and Midshipmen had faced off in 93 consecutive years.

The ND on NBC Podcast, hosted by Jac Collinsworth, will release weekly episodes throughout the season. On the latest episode, Collinsworth is joined by linebacker JD Bertrand. Episodes are released every Thursday and can be found here.

NBC Sports’ Irish Pick ‘Em, a new free-to-play contest featuring a $10,000 jackpot, continues on the NBC Sports Predictor app for Notre Dame-Navy this weekend.
