STAMFORD, Conn. – Oct. 20, 2021 – Top players from the PGA TOUR and Japan Golf Tour, including gold medalist Xander Schauffele and Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama, compete in the PGA TOUR’s ZOZO Championship from Japan this week, headlining NBC Sports’ golf tournament coverage this week on GOLF Channel.

The LPGA Tour is in South Korea this week for the BMW Ladies Championship with coverage beginning on GOLF Channel this Thursday, and the first tournament of the 2021 PGA TOUR Champions’ Charles Schwab Cup playoffs begins with live coverage Friday on GOLF Channel as the Dominion Energy Charity Classic takes place in Richmond, Va.

GOLF Channel also presents live final round coverage of the Jackson T. Stephens Cup today, and coverage of the European Tour’s Mallorca Golf Open beginning Thursday.

In addition, Golf Today – GOLF Channel’s daily studio show discussing all things in and around the game – will now available in audio form with full podcasts of the show posting each day across Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Stitcher.

PGA TOUR: ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP

Top players from the PGA TOUR and Japan Golf Tour headline the 78-player field at this week’s ZOZO Championship from Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club as the tournament returns to Japan after being played in California in 2020.

Highlighting this week’s field are Xander Schauffele, who returns to Japan after winning gold at the Tokyo Olympics, and reigning Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama.

Live coverage will be presented Wednesday-Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel.
