STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 8, 2021 – With one day until NFL Kickoff 2021, NBCUniversal presents a comprehensive slate of NFL content and promotion for the upcoming season and leading up to kickoff between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys.

The NFL’s “Biggest Season Ever” begins with Tom Brady and the Super Bowl-champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers facing Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL Kickoff Game tomorrow at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC, Peacock and Universo live from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. NBC Sports’ coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Sunday Night Football — America’s No. 1 primetime television show for an unprecedented 10 consecutive years — debuts three days later on Sunday, Sept. 12, when fans visit the new SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for the first time in the regular season. Quarterback Matthew Stafford makes his first start for the Rams against Khalil Mack and the Chicago Bears, who welcome two new quarterbacks in Andy Dalton and first-round draft pick Justin Fields. Coverage begins with Football Night in America — the most-watched studio show in sports — at 7 p.m. ET, leading into kickoff at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC, Peacock and Universo.

NBC Sports will present the first snap of the opening game in Tampa and the final snap as the league crowns a champion at Super Bowl LVI on Feb. 13, 2022 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on NBC and Peacock.

Below is a summary of the NBCU properties that are supporting NFL Kickoff 2021:

TODAY: On Thursday morning, TODAY’s Craig Melvin will report live from Tampa and speak with Football Night in America host Mike Tirico.

NBC ENTERTAINMENT: NBCUniversal and Comcast will support NFL Kickoff 2021 with custom integrations across on-air, digital and social assets, including shows such as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Celebrity Game Face, Jason Biggs’ Cash At Your Door, and America’s Got Talent.

CNBC: Al Michaels will join Fast Money Halftime Report tomorrow on CNBC, and Tirico will join Power Lunch. CNBC will also air an NBC Sports Symphony promotion on social media and on-air.

ACCESS HOLLYWOOD: Access Hollywood’s Mario Lopez and Sibley Scoles get an exclusive all access tour of SoFi Stadium and exclusive behind-the-scenes interview with Carrie Underwood, star of NBC’s Sunday Night Football 2021 show open.

TELEMUNDO: As the Spanish-language home of SNF, Telemundo Deportes will present full coverage of the NFL Kickoff game starting at 8 p.m. ET on Universo, and SNF mugs and jerseys are integrated into shows including Hoy Dia, Al Rojo Vivo, Titulares y Más, and more.

In addition to airing the full SNF package across platforms, led by an award-winning team of on-air experts, Telemundo Deportes is also launching Se Habla NFL, a new weekly digital series live streamed every Wednesday throughout the season on TelemundoDeportes.com, the Telemundo Deportes app and NFL’s YouTube channel, “NFL en Español.” The digital series will showcase the biggest NFL stories, player profiles and interviews, rivalries, social media trends, fans and the lifestyle and culture of NFL among the bicultural Latino fans.

NBC AFFILIATES, OWNED STATIONS AND NBC SPORTS REGIONAL NETWORKS: NFL Kickoff promotions continue to air throughout the week on NBC Affiliates, Owned Stations and NBC Sports Regional networks across the country, with analysis and commentary from NBC Sports’ SNF and FNIA teams on local newscasts.

SNF canVS: NBC Sports invites fans to paint a path to Super Bowl LVI through SNF canVS, a season-long interactive art campaign, beginning this Thursday at the 2021 NFL Kickoff game and continuing for each Sunday Night Football game throughout the season.

Each week in the city of the SNF matchup, local artists will create a five-yard long mural inspired by fan input that epitomizes the fanbase’s love for their team. At the end of the season, each of the 20 five-yard murals will come together to create a 100-yard masterpiece showcasing the painted pride that captures the devotion and passion of fans and featured in Los Angeles in February.

PEACOCK: In addition to streaming Football Night in America and Sunday Night Football each week as they air on NBC, Peacock will exclusively present Peacock Sunday Night Football Final – a new postgame show hosted by Chris Simms and Kathryn Tappen. Peacock also features live sports talk programming every weekday on the NBC Sports channel.  Daily shows include PFT Live, featuring Mike Florio and co-host Chris Simms, from 7 – 9 a.m. ET, The Dan Patrick Show from 9 a.m. – Noon ET, The Rich Eisen Show from Noon – 3 p.m. ET, Brother From Another from 3-5 p.m. ET, and PFT PM (5-6 p.m. ET), and the channel also streams PFT PM, Chris Simms Unbuttoned and The Peter King Podcast.
