Premier League Season Kicks Off this Friday with Special Two-Hour Edition of Premier League Live at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN; Newly-Promoted Brentford Hosts Arsenal at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo

STAMFORD, Conn. – August 11, 2021 – Since the Tokyo Olympics concluded this past Sunday, NBC Sports’ Premier League host Rebecca Lowe, who served as the host of NBC Olympics’ daytime show in Tokyo, and NBC Sports’ lead Premier League play-by-play voice Arlo White, who called many of the biggest Olympic soccer matches in Tokyo, will complete a whirlwind week of travel leading into the kickoff the 2021-22 Premier League season this Friday.

Lowe, who hosted 17 consecutive days of NBC Olympics’ daytime shows in Tokyo beginning with a first-ever Opening Ceremony daytime show on July 23, will host the  special two-hour, season-opening edition of Premier League Live this Friday August 13 at 1 p.m. ET, ahead of newly-promoted Brentford hosting Arsenal at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo.

From Monday, Lowe’s week will have been filled with travel, meetings, and prep work before concluding Sunday evening when she heads back home to California following the completion of the PL’s opening weekend.

“Now that’s a week!” Lowe said. “Sunday night, I can relax!!!”

White, who handled eight matches in Tokyo, will call an opening-weekend tripleheader, beginning with Friday’s match from Brentford Community Stadium. White, alongside analysts Graeme Le Saux and Lee Dixon, will then call Saturday’s Norwich City-Liverpool match (12:30 p.m. ET, NBC and Peacock) and Sunday’s Tottenham-Manchester City match (11:30 a.m. ET, NBCSN) this weekend. The trio will also offer commentary from a pitch-side desk on NBCSN’s studio shows prior to the Friday and Sunday matches.
