STAMFORD, Conn. – May 24, 2021 – The First Round of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs continues tonight and tomorrow on NBCSN and CNBC, including a quadrupleheader tonight that begins with the No. 1 Pittsburgh Penguins hosting the No. 4 New York Islanders in Game 5 with the series even at two games apiece at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN. NHL Live begins coverage at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

The No. 3 Tampa Bay Lightning aim to win their second straight game of the series and advance to the Second Round when they take on the No. 2 Florida Panthers tonight at 8 p.m. ET on CNBC. Following last night’s 5-4 overtime victory, the No. 3 Winnipeg Jets look to sweep the No. 2 Edmonton Oilers in the second half of tonight’s NBCSN doubleheader at 9:45 p.m. ET. The nightcap features the No. 2 Vegas Golden Knights also looking to advance to the Second Round with a 3-1 series advantage against the No. 3 Minnesota Wild at 10:30 p.m. ET on CNBC.

Last night, the Colorado Avalanche and Boston Bruins became the first pair of teams to advance to the Second Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Overall, Stanley Cup Playoff coverage will be presented on NBC, NBCSN and NHL Network, as well as First and Second Round coverage on NBCUniversal’s USA Network and CNBC. NBC Sports’ coverage of Stanley Cup Playoff First Round games on NBCUniversal cable networks (NBCSN, USA Network and CNBC), as well as NHL Network, will air side-by-side with regional sports networks and will be available for streaming on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app in local markets alongside regional sports network game telecasts. All games on NBC are exclusive. This marks the 16th consecutive season in which the Stanley Cup Playoffs is presented across the networks of NBCUniversal.
