Henni Koyack Makes GOLF Channel Debut as Reporter this Week

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 5, 2021 – NBC Sports presents nearly 75 hours of live tournament coverage this week with five events across the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, PGA TOUR Champions, European Tour, and the USGA.

Henni Koyack, a former Ladies European Tour professional and the youngest player to ever join the tour as an amateur, makes her GOLF Channel debut this week as a reporter on Golf Today and Golf Central. Koyack will work eight events on GOLF Channel this season, including this week’s Wells Fargo Championship, the Charles Schwab Challenge, Travelers Championship, and more.

WALKER CUP

NBC Sports begins its first full season of USGA championships and events with live coverage of the Walker Cup this Saturday and Sunday from Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach, Fla, on GOLF Channel and Peacock.

The Walker Cup, which is being contested on U.S. soil for the first time in spring, is a biennial 10-man amateur team competition between the USA and a team composed of players from Great Britain and Ireland. Click here for more information.

PGA TOUR: WELLS FARGO CHAMPIONSHIP

The PGA TOUR is in Charlotte, N.C., this week with the Wells Fargo Championship from Quail Hollow Club, as GOLF Channel presents live early-round coverage on Thursday and Friday and lead-in coverage on the weekend.

Four of the top five players in the World Ranking — Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm, Xander Schauffele and Bryson DeChambeau — headline this year’s field, and Rory McIlroy makes his first PGA TOUR appearance since the Masters. Max Homa looks to defend his 2019 title (the tournament was not held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic).
