PGA TOUR Spring Swing Continues with Honda Classic at PGA National Resort & Spa
Morgan Pressel to Serve as On-Course Reporter at the Honda Classic on GOLF Channel
STAMFORD, Conn. – March 17, 2021 – The PGA TOUR continues its Spring Swing this Thursday-Sunday from PGA National Resort & Spa (Champions) in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., on NBC and GOLF Channel. This year’s field at the Honda Classic features last week’s PLAYERS Championship runner-up Lee Westwood, Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler, Adam Scott, and more. Sungjae Im defends the 2020 title, his first-ever PGA TOUR victory.
Major champion and two-time LPGA Tour winner Morgan Pressel will serve as an on-course reporter this week on GOLF Channel at the Honda Classic. Yesterday, NBC Sports announced multiple viewership milestones for last week’s 2021 edition of THE PLAYERS Championship coverage on GOLF Channel and NBC, headlined by Sunday’s final round on NBC, which was the most-watched PGA TOUR final round since the 2018 TOUR Championship. Viewership gains carried over to Golf Central Live From THE PLAYERS – post-round viewership was up 31% vs. 2019 and week-long primetime coverage was up 15%.
