- The Triple Crown is awarded if a team from the four ‘Home Unions’ (England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales) beats each of the other three Home Unions in a single tournament.
- Italy enter Round 4 on a 30-match Six Nations losing streak after falling to Ireland, 48-10, in Round 3.
- After the France v. Scotland match was postponed in Round 3 due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the French squad, both nations return to action this weekend.
- France face England in Round 4 and seek their second consecutive 3-0-0 Six Nations start.
- Defending champion England lost for the second time in three matches, falling to Wales, 40-24, in Round 3.
