GOLF CHANNEL PRESENTS LIVE TOURNAMENT COVERAGE OF AT&T PEBBLE BEACH PRO-AM THIS WEEKEND

PGA TOUR’s Waste Management Phoenix Open Delivers More Viewership Highlights for GOLF Channel and NBC

STAMFORD, Conn. – Feb. 10, 2021 – The PGA TOUR season continues with the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am from Pebble Beach, Calif., as GOLF Channel presents live coverage Thursday-Sunday. Among this week’s field are Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler and Phil Mickelson.

Formerly known as the Crosby Clambake, 2021 marks the 75th anniversary of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on the Monterey Peninsula. This year’s tournament will played at Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill Golf Course over the first two rounds and both final rounds will be contested at Pebble Beach. 2020 champion Nick Taylor returns to defend his title while Mickelson aims for his tournament-record sixth victory.

RATINGS NOTES

Last week’s coverage of the Waste Management Phoenix Open averaged 1.431 million viewers across NBC and GOLF Channel, up 27% vs. comparable coverage in 2020 on CBS and GOLF Channel.

Additional Waste Management Phoenix Open viewership highlights:

    • Coverage on NBC averaged nearly 3 million viewers (2.967 million), up 17% vs. last year’s coverage on CBS, with Final Round coverage averaging nearly 3.7 million viewers (3.693 million), up 28% vs. 2020;
    • GOLF Channel coverage (Thur-Sun) averaged 663,000 viewers, up 37% vs. 2020;
    • Sunday’s lead-in coverage on GOLF Channel averaged 1.293 million viewers, up 89% vs. last year’s lead-in coverage.
