December 16, 2020NBC Sports Northwest – The Official Network of the Portland Trail Blazers – has announced its 2020-21 “First Half” NBA regular season coverage details featuring 34 Blazers game telecasts (18 home, 16 road), live streaming of EVERY GAME and surrounding Blazers Pre/Postgame Live coverage to authenticated subscribers via NBCSportsNorthwest.com and the “MyTeams by NBC Sports” app, along with extensive, season-long, fan-focused linear/digital/audio Blazers content offerings.

NBC Sports Northwest will tip-off its 2020-21 NBA regular season Trail Blazers coverage with the HOME/SEASON OPENER on Wednesday, December 23, as Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, Carmelo Anthony, Jusuf Nurkić and the Blazers face the Western Conference rival Utah Jazz live from the Moda Center.  Live, Opening Night pregame coverage begins at 4:30 p.m. PT with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. featuring Blazers play-by-play announcer Jordan Kent (@jordankent) and analyst Lamar Hurd (@L_Hurd) with the game call.

GAME NIGHT COVERAGE

NBC Sports Northwest’s extensive game night coverage begins two-and-a-half hours prior to every Trail Blazers telecast beginning with “Blazers GameDay,” hosted by NBC Sports Northwest Rip City Radio’s Chad Doing. One hour prior to tipoff, Doing hosts “Blazers Warm Up, alongside NBC Sports Northwest Blazers Insider Dwight Jaynes. The 30-minute “Blazers Pregame” show then follows featuring host Brooke Olzendam with analysis via former Trail Blazer Michael Holton. An expanded edition  of “Blazers Postgame” will air after each game, which will then be followed by “Blazers Outsiders” with co-hosts Joe Simons and Dan Marang.
