(December 16, 2020) – NBC Sports California today announced its Sacramento Kings “First Half” 2020-21 NBA regular season coverage details featuring live coverage of 38 Kings games (20 home, 18 road), live streaming of EVERY GAME and surrounding Kings Pre/Postgame Live coverage to authenticated subscribers via NBCSportsCalifornia.com and the “MyTeams by NBC Sports” app, along with season-long, fan-focused digital Kings content offerings. NBC Sports California will tip-off its 2020-21 regular season Kings coverage with the SEASON OPENER on Wednesday, December 23, as the Kings travel to face the Western Conference rival Denver Nuggets live from Ball Arena in Denver, Col.  Opening Night coverage begins at 5:30 pm PT with Kings Pregame Live presented by Ford.  Featuring new studio host/additional TV play-by-play announcer Kyle Draper (@KyleDraperTV) with expert analysis from former collegiate/WNBA standout Kayte Christensen-Hunter (@kayte_c), Kings Pregame Live will provide viewers with a complete game night preview featuring player match-up breakdowns, the latest team news and interviews with Kings players and coaches, a recap of all the off-season moves and much more.  In addition, former Kings six-time NBA All-Star/2014 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Mitch Richmond (@mitchrichmond23) will also provide pre/post analysis for select Kings telecasts this season.  NBC Sports Bay Area/California’s Jim Kozimor (@KozNBCS) will handle additional pre/post programming hosting duties this season, along with multiplatform game night contributions.

Opening Night game action on December 23 gets underway at 6:00 pm PT with new primary Kings TV play-by-play announcer Mark Jones (@MarkJonesESPN), Kings legend/veteran game analyst Doug Christie (@TheDougChristie) and additional in-game analyst Kayte Christensen-Hunter delivering the game call.  NBC Sports California will also carry the Kings HOME OPENER on Saturday, December 26 against the Phoenix Suns (Kings Pregame Live to air at 6:30 PM, game tip-off at 7:00 PM).  The season opener and every Kings game telecast on NBC Sports California will be immediately followed by Kings Postgame Live presented by Toyota.  Hosted by Draper, featuring analysis via Christensen-Hunter, Kings Postgame Live will deliver live coverage of Kings Head Coach Luke Walton’s post-game press conference, along with post-game player reaction, expanded highlights, detailed analysis, upcoming game previews and more.
