STAMFORD, Conn. – Dec. 2, 2020 – NBC Sports concludes its 30th season of Notre Dame Football coverage this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC, when the undefeated No. 2 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (9-0) host the Syracuse Orange (1-9) in their home finale from Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind.

Mike Tirico (play-by-play) and Super Bowl-winning head coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Tony Dungy (lead analyst) will call the game along with Kathryn Tappen (sideline reporter) and Terry McAulay (rules analyst). NBC Sports host and Notre Dame alum Jac Collinsworth will host pre-game, halftime and post-game coverage from Notre Dame Stadium.

Notre Dame and Syracuse will meet for the 10th time in their history this weekend, with the Fighting Irish holding a 6-3 advantage all-time. The schools most recently met in 2018, when No. 3 Notre Dame topped No. 12 Syracuse, 36-3, at Yankee Stadium as QB Ian Book passed for 292 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Last week, Notre Dame – who are the No. 2 team in this week’s College Football Playoff rankings – kept their undefeated season alive with a 31-17 win over No. 19 North Carolina. Book passed for 279 yards with one touchdown, and RB Kyren Williams, who is second in the ACC with 901 rushing yards this season, rushed for 124 yards and scored three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving).

Notre Dame has the longest active win streak in the nation at 15 and already clinched a spot in the ACC Championship Game in their first season as a conference member. With a win this Saturday, the Irish will complete their third perfect regular season in the Brian Kelly era and move closer to securing their second College Football Playoff appearance and potentially adding to their 11 national titles.

Syracuse visits Notre Dame Stadium looking to snap a seven-game losing streak after falling to North Carolina State, 36-29, last weekend.

Through four games on NBC this season, Notre Dame matchups are averaging a Total Audience Delivery of 5.28 million viewers, up 133% vs. 2019 and on pace for the best Notre Dame on NBC season since 2005.
