STAMFORD, Conn. – Oct. 15, 2020 – The No. 4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (3-0) host the Louisville Cardinals (1-3) this Saturday, Oct. 17, at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind., at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Mike Tirico (play-by-play) and Super Bowl-winning head coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Tony Dungy (lead analyst) will call the game along with Kathryn Tappen (sideline reporter) and Terry McAulay (rules analyst). NBC Sports host and Notre Dame alum Jac Collinsworth will host pre-game, halftime and post-game coverage from Notre Dame Stadium.

Notre Dame and Louisville will meet for the third time in their history this weekend, with the series split at one win each. The schools most recently met in last year’s season opener, when the Fighting Irish topped the Cardinals, 35-17, at Cardinal Stadium to begin the Scott Satterfield era in Louisville. Notre Dame QB Ian Book passed for 193 yards and a touchdown and added 81 yards on the ground and a rushing score in the win. Louisville won the only other previous meeting, emerging victorious in their only visit to Notre Dame Stadium in 2014 with a 31-28 win.

Last week, Notre Dame hosted Florida State and secured a 42-26 victory behind Book’s three total touchdowns and 100-yard rushing performances from RBs Kyren Williams (185 yards, two touchdowns) and Chris Tyree (103 yards, one touchdown).

Louisville visits Notre Dame Stadium looking to snap a three-game losing streak after falling to Georgia Tech, 46-27, last week. Cardinals QB Malik Cunningham has scored 12 touchdowns this season (nine passing, three rushing), while RB Javian Hawkins leads the ACC with 468 rushing yards and WR Tutu Atwell ties for the conference lead with four touchdown catches.

On the most recent episode of the ND on NBC Podcast, host Jac Collinsworth speaks with Notre Dame WR Braden Lenzy and LB Drew White. Episodes are released every Thursday, you can find them here.

NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs – will stream coverage of all 2020 Notre Dame home games.
