STAMFORD, Conn. – Oct. 9, 2020 – The No. 5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (2-0) host the Florida State Seminoles (1-2) in primetime this Saturday, Oct. 10, at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind., at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Mike Tirico (play-by-play) and Super Bowl-winning head coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Tony Dungy (lead analyst) will call the game along with Kathryn Tappen (sideline reporter) and Terry McAulay (rules analyst). NBC Sports host and Notre Dame alum Jac Collinsworth will host pre-game, halftime and post-game coverage from Notre Dame Stadium, alongside Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie (analyst).

Notre Dame and Florida State will meet for the 10th time in their history this weekend, with FSU holding a 6-3 series advantage all-time. The schools most recently met on Nov. 10, 2018, when the Fighting Irish advanced to 10-0 with a 42-13 victory at Notre Dame Stadium. Their famous “Game of the Century” matchup in 1993 saw No. 2 Notre Dame hang on in the final seconds to defeat No. 1 Florida State, 31-24, at Notre Dame Stadium.

Notre Dame last played on Sat., Sept. 19, as they topped South Florida, 52-0, at home. The Fighting Irish rushed for six touchdowns in the win, including three from QB Ian Book and one from RB C’Bo Flemister, who also added 127 yards on the ground. Notre Dame had a bye last weekend and their originally scheduled Sept. 26 matchup against Wake Forest has been postponed until Dec. 12.

Florida State visits South Bend following their first win of the Mike Norvell era, a 41-24 victory over Jacksonville State last weekend. FSU redshirt sophomore QB Jordan Travis, who came off the bench last weekend to lead the Seminoles with 210 passing yards and two total touchdowns, will start for the first time at quarterback on Saturday.

On the most recent episode of the ND on NBC Podcast, host Jac Collinsworth speaks with former Notre Dame wide receiver and NBC Sports’ Corey Robinson and current Fighting Irish cornerback Nick McCloud. Episodes are released every Thursday, you can find them here.

NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs – will stream coverage of all 2020 Notre Dame home games.
