STAMFORD, Conn. – Aug. 21, 2020 – NBC Sports continues its Diamond League track & field coverage with the series’ second non-exhibition event of the season in Stockholm, Sweden, this Sunday, Aug. 23 live at 10 a.m. ET, exclusively on NBC Sports Gold’s “Track and Field Pass,” with television coverage later that night at 8 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

Americans expected to headline the action in Stockholm are reigning world champions Donavan Brazier (800m) and pole vaulter Sam Kendricks, who also won a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, along with 2019 world silver medalist Raevyn Rogers in the women’s 800m. Last weekend, Brazier won the men’s 800m at the Diamond League opener in Monaco. All three athletes plan on competing in their signature events. For full entry list, click here.

Paul Swangard handles the call, joined by analysts – four-time Olympic medalist Ato Boldon and 2012 Olympian and two-time world bronze medalist Alysia Montaño, who is known for her advocacy work supporting women pursuing careers and motherhood simultaneously.

NBC Sports’ coverage of the Stockholm Diamond League meet will also include a conversation between Montaño and three-time U.S. Olympian Shannon Rowbury, who discusses postpartum training and competing as well as structural challenges in sports for athletes who are mothers. Rowbury will be racing in the women’s 1500m in Stockholm.
