NBC SPORTS ANNOUNCES 2020 LUCAS OIL PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE ACROSS NBC SPORTS PLATFORMS
NBC & NBCSN to Televise All 9 Rounds of the 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Season
NBC Sports Gold’s Pro Motocross Pass to Showcase Moto 1s and Moto 2s Live, On-Demand and Commercial-Free
Race Coverage Begins Saturday, August 15, at 12 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Presentation of the Loretta Lynn’s National Moto 2; NBC to Air Moto 2 450 Race Sunday, August 16, at 12 p.m. ET
STAMFORD, Conn. – August 11, 2020 – NBC Sports announced today the 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship schedule, with coverage of all 9 rounds presented across NBC, NBCSN, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app and NBC Sports Gold – NBC Sports Group’s direct-to-consumer live streaming product. Coverage of the season begins this Saturday, August 15, with the inaugural Loretta Lynn’s National in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. Saturday’s coverage of the Moto2 on NBCSN begins at 12 a.m. ET and NBC will present the Moto2 450 Sunday at 12 p.m. ET.
NBC and NBCSN will combine to present every Moto 2 from all 9 rounds of the 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship season. All televised coverage will also stream on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.
In addition to coverage on NBC and NBCSN, NBC Sports Gold’s Pro Motocross Pass will super-serve Motocross fans everywhere with programming that includes live, commercial-free coverage of every Moto 1 and Moto 2 from each round, as well as full event replays and qualifiers from the two previous seasons. Pro Motocross Pass will present Qualifying sessions for all 9 rounds for domestic subscribers.
The 2020 schedule features stops across the country that include the first-ever Pro Motocross doubleheader at RedBud MX in Michigan on Friday, Sept. 4 and Monday, Sept. 7, and the season-ending round at Fox Raceway National in California on Saturday, Oct. 10, where a pair of champions will be crowned.
Jason Weigandt will serve as the play-by-play announcer for all race telecasts alongside analyst and two-time AMA Pro Motocross Champion Grant Langston. Will Christien will serve as the pit reporter during the 2020 season.
