Flames Can Eliminate Jets and Advance to Stanley Cup Playoffs with Win at 10:30 p.m. ET on CNBC – Flames Lead Series 2-1

STAMFORD, Conn. August 6, 2020 – NBC Sports presents coverage of five 2020 Stanley Cup Qualifying Round matchups today, beginning with NHL Live pre-game coverage at 2 p.m. ET on NBCSN, leading into a presentation of the Vancouver Canucks taking on the Minnesota Wild in Game 3 at 2:30 p.m. ET, with the series tied 1-1. Liam McHugh will host studio coverage alongside analysts Anson Carter and Patrick Sharp.

Two round robin matchups will be featured on NBCSN, starting with the Washington Capitals and Philadelphia Flyers at 4 p.m. ET, followed by the Vegas Golden Knights facing the St. Louis Blues at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Primetime coverage at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN will feature a pivotal Game 3 between Auston Matthews and the Toronto Maple Leafs against Seth Jones and the Columbus Blue Jackets, with the series tied at a game apiece. Johnny Gaudreau and the Calgary Flames look to clinch the series and advance with a Game 4 win against Blake Wheeler and the Winnipeg Jets at 10:30 p.m. ET on CNBC.

All games airing on NBCSN and CNBC are blacked out in the local markets and can be seen on the local RSNs. In addition, games not aired in their entirety on NBCSN or CNBC will air in their entirety on NHL Network.

Qualifying Round series are best-of-five and will be contested between the teams seeded 5th through 12th in each conference. The winners of those series will join the top four teams from each conference, who will play round robin games to determine seeding, in the traditional 16-team Stanley Cup Playoffs format.
